The section-wise prep plan is as follows:

Quantitative Skills:
This section is a mixture of Quantitative ability and Data Interpretation.

2. Solve Exercise 1 and 2 of each chapter followed by test papers and Level A and Level B tests
from www.catgurus.com
3. Quant Essentials and 1 marker FLTs are a must.
4. For DI: do the last 4 tests from the DI module and DI sets from DI tests of Essentials.

Logical Reasoning:

1. Solve the 5 tests given in the AR module.
2. AR sets from DI tests of essentials and 1 marker FLTs are a must.

Language Skills:

1. 15 minutes of brisk revision daily (40-50 new words’ addition) from Vocab Empower (including
Lexicon) or Norman Lewis (including dictionary) or Vocab Module Zero.
2. Verbal Logic:
a. Parajumbles: 10-15 a day.
b. Critical Reasoning: 10-15 a day.
3. Reading comprehension: the RC questions will be direct in nature. Solve Prep RC module and RC
tests from Essentials.
4. Keep solving 4 RCs a day for practice as well as stamina building. This will act as practice for CAT
as well.

You can choose the order of the sections before the starts. Always start with your strength and keep
your weaker section towards the end.

Planning for MOCK NMATs.

5 Mock NMATs have been uploaded in your catgurus account. These are without passphrase and have
to be taken according to the following schedule:

For those students who are giving NMAT twice:
  •  Mock NMAT 1: 9 days before the first attempt
  •  Mock NMAT 2: 6 days before the first attempt
  •  Mock NMAT 3: 3 days before the first attempt
  •  Mock NMAT 4: 6 days before the second attempt
  •  Mock NMAT 5: 3 days before the second attempt
For those students who are giving NMAT thrice.
  •  Mock NMAT 1: 6 days before the first attempt
  •  Mock NMAT 2: 3 days before the first attempt
  •  Mock NMAT 3: 6 days before the second attempt
  •  Mock NMAT 4: 3 days before the second attempt
  •  Mock NMAT 5: 3 days before the third attempt
The cut off for NMMS – Mumbai is around 210. So make sure that you make 75 – 80 genuine attempts.
Last piece of advice is to maintain your speed and to target the paper aggressively.

All the Best and Happy Cracking!
